Herbert Goldstein, 91, of Westfield, NJ died on Thursday, August 29 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in Rahway. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 3 at the Menorah Chapels at Millburn. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus. Mr. Goldstein was a small business owner in the food industry for most of his working life before retiring. He served in the Army National Guard during the Korean Conflict. Born and raised in the Bronx, he then lived in Manhattan before moving to Yonkers to raise a family. He also served on the co-op board of his residence, Sadore Lane Gardens. In 2017, he and his wife, Niecie, moved to Westfield and became a member of Temple Emanu-El. Pre-deceased by his wife of more than 50 years, Bernice R. Goldstein (nee Rothstein), he is survived by his sons, Stephen and his wife Jennifer of Westfield and Matthew of New York City, his sister Marian "Sissy" Feinman of Boca Raton, FL and his granddaughters, Sigal and Liza.
